About PreludeIDS
Creation
The Prelude Open Source Intrusion Detection System (IDS) was created in 1998 by Yoann Vandoorselaere. Since its creation, security engineers and specialists have enthusiastically contributed to Prelude in the spirit of Open Source. This has led to the development of a universal security management system that is one of the most widely deployed and trusted in the business world.
PreludeIDS Technologies was co-founded in March 2005 by M. Yoann Vandoorselaere (Development Engineer, Security Expert and CTO) and Mlle Audrey Girard (Industrial Systems Engineer and CEO) with the objective of building on Prelude’s popularity with commercial solutions.
The company is head-quartered at the heart of Europe in Lyon, France.
