Certification
The certification is a 2 hour exam which validates the candidate’s practical and theoretical knowledge of Prelude to ensure an independent and controlled deployment of Prelude’s products and services. Certification content:
- Prelude installation and deployment
- Prelude configuration and usage
- Prelude Agents communication mechanisms
- Intrusion Detection Message Exchange Format (IDMEF)
- Prelude redundancy and failover mechanism
- Distributed architecture & authority
- Correlation rules
The certification can be preceded by the Experts training course if it is desired.
The PreludeIDS certification is the initial and essential pre-requisite of our Partner Programs. It is also the only expense.
All Partners must have at least one certified Prelude consultant within their organisation.
Certification and training generates confidence for both the Partner and the en d-users, who are assured that they are not being supplied by a simple Prelude dealer, but by a Certified PreludeIDS Partner.
